Farm Weddings Trend Spotter: Paper Straws!

We’re coming at you today with a small, yet incredibly fun and fanciful detail: paper straws! They are all the rage at weddings these day and for good reason. They add such a fun, whimsical element to a bar or table setting.

For our own wedding, we didn’t have a set color scheme for the reception, so we channeled the grey suits of our groomsmen and the sangria-colored dresses of our bridesmaids, and went with grey and white as well as fuchsia and white striped paper straws for our bar. They were a hit and looked o so adorable in our mason drinking jars!

However, stripes are not your only option for paper straws! There are a number of alternatives to suit your needs- polka dots, chevron, wood grain, to name a few. Whatever you choose, paper straws are such a fun way to dress up your drinkware and the perfect compliment to a farm wedding.

Check out some of the fun ways paper straws were used at these rustic chic farm weddings-
