Farm Weddings Trend Spotter: Vintage China

As you’re looking for the perfect blend of rustic meets chic for your farm wedding, your table settings can do wonders to help you achieve that feel. And we’ve got two words for you: vintage china!

I first saw this beautiful touch at a friend’s wedding at a cabin in Colorado. Her dessert table was filled with mismatched vintage teacups and saucers that gave the loveliest romantic feel to her rustic, mountaintop cabin setting.  Then, as we were perusing photos online for inspiration when planning our own wedding, one caught my eye for the most beautiful place settings I’d ever seen! They used mismatched floral vintage china and I knew I had to have it. I will give a little shout out to my vendor that I used, Something Vintage, who was wonderful to work with and has loads of gorgeous vintage rentals. You can find a vendor to rent your vintage china from or, if you’re ambitious, you could work to collect your own china from yard sales, estate sales, online auctions, etc. You might be able to amass enough as the same or more affordable price and you could resell for a future bride’s use. Using both a dinner plate and salad plate for that layered effect really achieves a special look!

However you choose to pursue this, I can promise it will make a beautiful statement on your tables, helping you achieve that beautiful vintage feel in your rustic setting. Let’s take a look at this gorgeous farm wedding trend:
